The first of which is for the 2018 Stanley Cup champion Boston Bruins.

Boston Bruins beat the Washington Capitals in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals, 7-5, in front of 20,831 fans at TD Garden.

The Bruins swept the series in five games and advanced to the Conference Finals for the second time in four years.

The series was decided by a shootout.

The Bruins have the best home record in the Eastern conference, with a 21-9-2 record at TD Place.

The Stanley Cup has never been won by the Boston Bruins at TD Arena, but they have beaten the Washington team three times in five seasons.

They beat the Ottawa Senators twice in five years and the Pittsburgh Penguins twice in three years.

The Washington Capitals have won the Stanley Cup in seven of the past nine seasons, winning the Presidents Trophy in the 2014 and 2015 playoffs.

The Capitals have gone to the Stanley Series in the past three years, winning four times.

They are one of only two teams to win a Stanley Cup without a regulation loss in each of the last two seasons.

The Boston Bruins are one game out of the final playoff spot in the Atlantic Division, with the New York Islanders sitting in fourth place.

Boston has played the Islanders four times and has won each of those meetings, although the Isles won Game 5 in New Jersey last season.

The Islanders are one point behind Boston for the final Eastern Conference playoff spot.

They defeated the Montreal Canadiens 4-2 on Sunday in the second round of the playoffs.

The New York Rangers have a chance to make the playoffs if the Ottawa Capitals play at home in Game 6 on Wednesday.

The Rangers are 2-1-0 against the Ottawa playoff team.

The Philadelphia Flyers are looking for their first postseason win since they defeated the Ottawa Canadiens 4.1 seconds into overtime in the 2015 Eastern Conference finals.

The Flyers are 4-1 in the postseason with a 7-4-1 record.

The Tampa Bay Lightning are looking to end their playoff drought after winning their first four games.

The Lightning are currently 5-1 and are tied with the Washington Senators for the Eastern playoff lead.

The teams last meeting was in Game 5 of the Stanley Cups second round.

The Pittsburgh Penguins are 5-2 in their past six playoff series against the Washington Wizards, winning three of the four meetings.

The Penguins are 3-2-1 against the Senators in the last three seasons.

Pittsburgh has won seven straight games against Washington, and the Capitals have only lost four times in seven playoff appearances.

The Montreal Canadiens are the top team in the Metropolitan Division, and are 6-1 on the season.

The Canadiens are one win away from the Stanley’s Cup and are four points ahead of second place Philadelphia for the top spot in this year’s Metropolitan.

The Toronto Maple Leafs are 4th in the division and are looking forward to their first playoff series since the 2007-08 season.

They lost Game 6 of the first round to the Florida Panthers in six games.
