Google News search reveals that in 2018, there were nearly 50,000 new sewing machines installed in Canada, with more than half of them being machines in urban areas.
There are currently about 12 million active registered users in Canada.
The machines were mostly used to sew up clothing, as well as in the home.
However, the machines also can be used for medical and medical equipment.
While it is common for a home to have multiple sewing machines, the number of new machines is on the rise in some parts of the country.
The most popular machines in 2018 were machines in Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa, with Vancouver and Edmonton also getting in on the action.
