NEW YORK — The Trump Organization has spent $4.7 million on the building of an embroideried sign for a Trump Tower conference room, and the decor, the president’s daughters say, is “weird.”
The New York City Post, citing an anonymous source, reports the Trump Organization spent $3.5 million to create a “Weird” embroidered sign for Trump Tower in mid-January.
The Post also says the Trump family spent $1.8 million on decorations for Trump Plaza on March 1.
Trump has made no public comment about the building project, although his daughter Ivanka Trump has said she thinks the signage “seems pretty cool.”
The Post says the project, which is currently under construction at the Trump International Hotel & Tower, has cost about $500,000 to $1 million.
